The Bore is this unique wave that is still present on the Chocolate River after so many years. Just like the Bore, the religious congregation of Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur (NDSC) keeps its symbolic place within the Acadian community.

The NDSC Heritage Room retraces the incredible history of these nuns who fought, and are fighting still, for the rights of all Acadians. To meet NDSC nuns is like talking with a community that exists as much in the past as it does in the present!

Take the time to visit and meet these impressive Acadian women, and don’t forget to share them by using the hashtags #NDSC and #RFMSE.
